Or, how about a feckin van!? (radical, I know)Over the last 13 months mines been....00-10-00-10-00-10-00-10-00-10-00...not much progress...a 20 would be nice for a change!
Believe it or not, I do hesitate to complain (no, really!) as I realise there are folks like you & @Ricardo T that have waited longer than me.It's only taken me 12 months to get to that stage
Yeah i'm easy...don't mind going straight from 00 to 70 although I would need counselling!Or, how about a feckin van!? (radical, I know)
Have a read of the link on post #2840..that may give you some idea of what lies ahead. I think i've read other posts saying dealers are quoting 12-18 months but its all a bit of guess work depending on your spec and parts availability.Looking to order a new Van from a dealer possibly.. are the waits still that bad? From what I’ve read I’m guessing 52 weeks plus wait. Will it possibly speed up?
The situation is only likely to get worse IMO. The chip shortage is likely to persist for another couple of years and the supply chain is under significant stress due the combined impact of the Ukraine situation and Covid - meanwhile the order queue just keeps growing.Looking to order a new Van from a dealer possibly.. are the waits still that bad? Hmmm.. something to think about I guess. The T7 will be out by then!Have a read of the link on post #2840..that may give you some idea of what lies ahead. I was told it would be around a years wait. I had to make a compromise last time with the spec but this time I didn’t really want to. May just order one and see if anything pops up while I’m waiting. The situation is only likely to get worse IMO. Some are being lucky re delivery timescales and this will continue to be the case, but the general trend will be for lead times to increase.
Just had update from Autoebid about van through Ashford. Order late July 2021, T30 150 DSG highline in bayleaf green. Had provisional build date of week 11, this moved to week 12 a few months ago.
Update now showing in build
Had to look up the definition of "tamping", but I could have guessed!I had email off Autoebid.
Van is built and en-route to the dealer. Oh yeah, and your price is based on on the December 2021 price list.
Tamping. That will be a few grand more....
I wanted to make changes to the spec and was told I'd lose price protection. Turns out they increased the price anyway and I don't have the exact options I wanted.
Bit of a crap journey all the way. Surely I'm supposed to be excited not gutted?
So who do we think is the next in line to be crowned "longest suffering"?Out of everyone am glad you have a van appeared for you . Sure you are the longest waiting . Congratulations .
Did you have any updates or just email saying your van is on way to dealer
Literally had " it's built.....and cost based on Dec prices". Not sort of easing in just boom that's how it happening.Out of everyone am glad you have a van appeared for you . Sure you are the longest waiting . Congratulations .

I’m at 12 months next week, definitely given up on being excited, on 5th provisional build date.So who do we think is the next in line to be crowned "longest suffering"?
