Same plan as myself Jimmy. So far I’m on 13 months since ordering.
Good luck buddy!

I've a big spec highline kombi,204 dsg in Ascot,on order, just avvin a mega sports van..but,the pop out rear pod thing appeals too.Yeah am going for a conversion type spec…Ascot Grey Highline LWB panel van, 150 DSG gearbox, swivel seats, 80l fuel tank, front and rear sensors, rear view camera, LED lights, folding mirrors etc. My intention is actually to convert it to a camper anyway and the plan was to keep hold of it for the next decade or so as the kids grow up. I don’t see EVs working when it comes to campervanning but also cautious about what the future holds for diesel engines really. My daily driver is a plug-in hybrid so I am clearly on the fence when it comes to this debate
Congrats. I hope you find it's been worth the wait .Had a call from my VW dealer today, my van has been built and is at Emden port awaiting shipping. After a very long 17+ months since ordering it’s finally on it’s way.
We’ll see once it arrives.Congrats. I hope you find it's been worth the wait .
Congrats Did you just get a random call saying it’s built and on the way or get updates previously with build dates , just looking for a bit of hope that’s alll hahaHad a call from my VW dealer today, my van has been built and is at Emden port awaiting shipping. I had regular updates from Listers VWCV. I was given an approximate build date 4 weeks ago, so imagine my surprise at the call. It’s taken so long, that the call was a bit of an anti climax. I’m sure that will change once I’m in the drivers seat. I’ve been told that I should have it for September 1st!! That seems like a long time shipping to me. I will update before I say sayonara to this group.Congrats Did you just get a random call saying it’s built and on the way or get updates previously with build dates , just looking for a bit of hope that’s alll haha
I'm in a very similar position with Listers. They advised me last week that my van is still at Emden, but that the ship doesn't sail until it's full, which makes sense.I had regular updates from Listers VWCV. Further update: just in. Van is now expected in one week. Hope yours is on the same ship.I'm in a very similar position with Listers. They advised me last week that my van is still at Emden, but that the ship doesn't sail until it's full, which makes sense.
They're also offering 2 services for £149, which is a no-brainer, as well as a 2 year warranty extension for £399. I think I'll go for both.Further update: just in. Van is now expected in one week. Hope yours is on the same ship.
Fingers crossed. Have they given you a turn around time once it’s been delivered to them, for PDI and the like?Further update: just in. Van is now expected in one week. Hope yours is on the same ship.
Listers of Dulwich are about 3 1/2 hours drive from me, I won’t be having my service carried out there. They're also offering 2 services for £149, which is a no-brainer, as well as a 2 year warranty extension for £399. I think I'll go for both.
Are the services specific to the supplying dealer, or can they be done by any dealer across the network?Listers of Dulwich are about 3 1/2 hours drive from me, I won’t be having my service carried out there.
Not yet. It's only a quick job, but depends how many they've got to do.Fingers crossed. Have they given you a turn around time once it’s been delivered to them, for PDI and the like?
Dulwich? Droitwich, surely?Listers of Dulwich are about 3 1/2 hours drive from me, I won’t be having my service carried out there.
Doh, you’re right it’s Droitwich & just checked Google maps it’s only 2 1/2 hrs drive. Wrong on both counts. Not yet. It's only a quick job, but depends how many they've got to do.

The servicing can be done at any VWCV centre in the country. Some VW car dealerships are authorised to do servicing as well. Are the services specific to the supplying dealer, or can they be done by any dealer across the network?
That’s a great deal. Have Listers offered you the £200 goodwill gesture for delays incurred? The servicing can be done at any VWCV centre in the country. Some VW car dealerships are authorised to do servicing as well.
No, not mentioned. That’s a great deal. Have Listers offered you the £200 goodwill gesture for delays incurred?
