T6.1 new order delays

I'm not moaning at all, Its just a principle that VW can basically do as they please. The customer is not really their concern.
Well it certainly sounds like you are moaning. have you read the small print on your vehicle order form? They have made an improvement and you have received that. I think that is looking after their customers.

I ordered my new van through a conversion company last July for conversion start in 4 weeks time and it’s still not in the country. I’ve been assured they are turning up on time but it’s getting close

Well im still waiting on my 150 Highline Kombi ordered mid Sept, good luck with March Delivery
Well typical isn't it really of dealers, which is a shame as they are not all the same. When I ordered in Jan he knew my situation of needing it by May due to a VW contract ending, however I have a feeling I am going to get shafted. I have already warned him if it doesn't turn up he has to provide me a temporary van :)

Ordered mine November, a 199 4motion dsg panel van, now been given a production date for the 25 April

I added a few more options to mine at the beginning of January so that might have delayed mine. Ordered through Vw Lancashire

We were informed at the tail end of last week, after all build weeks live again, that any new builds for kombis would be July, and panel vans would be August.

It really is bonkers, and I’ve never seen it this bad. Always been an odd order that takes a while, but not all of them.

Last year with Covid delayed loads of registrations for us and we were hoping to get back on track this year, and we always plan 3-4 months in advance, but this will knock our fleet swap over back again.

The problem is its the honesty piece for me. If you are going to give someone a shit sandwich make sure there is some shit in it. It's the not knowing or lack of communication for me. If I was told your van wont be ready until July I can plan for that but at the moment the dealer is doing its best to ignore my after ordering a 55k Kombi!
