Bound too. Only 1 of my current ones does so I feel very lucky. Although after taking it apart the other day I think both might be water tight at the moment.
I did get some advice from some guys who install equipment on Blackpool sea front. They said
"You'll never stop water getting in. Just make sure it can out and if you can make sure it gets out the way you prefer."

Have just come off the Vw live chat and was told that my order (199 lwb 4motion panel van) which I have no build date for as of yet (ordered end of Jan) will now be built as a 204ps instead.
I am pissed off been told provisional build has gone back to week 18, so now I have had approximately, weeks 5,7,6,9,16,11,14,18 soon be able to choose lottery numbers from the build weeks, come to think of it probably higher odds of winning the lottery than getting my new van.
Do you know what the reason is? I guess as you have a provisional week has to be an option or part.
At the moment and if you are happy to wait then you may as well buy new as the second hand prices are nuts. I suppose it's linked to staycations etc but unless you are desperate then new all the way. Also, as you mention the spec on these second hand vans is far lower than what I'm getting.
It's a no-brainer.

I have lost count of how many provisional weeks I have been given. I have written to VW customer care tonight demanding an explanation to the whole sorry situation. A couple of weeks ago I had week 11, and the dealership assured me it was on their priority list to supply. A week ago 14 then today 18. I can't help feeling that I am just a minion private buyer being shunted down the line to those that have much greater buying power. Ordered 22/9/20
I would rather keep a 199 than have a 25kg extra weight 204.
Not even with extra 5-10k cash . 25kg is next to nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Ordered 199 T32 4 motion DSG 18 August 2020 due for build week 48. Unconfirmed build slot week 26 this year, very frustrating. Ordered direct via main dealer.
Is that a pv or kombi?
If it is a pv, that’s exactly the same as what I ordered on 25th November and it is on its way to uk this week.
I Think some dealers are put on the back burner.
