T6.1 new order delays

Heritage in Bristol. Dealt with Mark. I originally ordered it back in January but cancelled it about a month later because of uncertainty of when it was going to turn up.I had a further two vans go tits up then out of the blue about a moth ago Mark called me and asked if I had a van yet because this one was on its way so had no hesitation in replacing my deposit with him. Could be worth anyone looking to give him a call. There seemed to be plenty of vans on site when I picked mine up yesterday . Thanks to Ozi for reccomending him onto me
Just been given a confirmed build week of 21 by Vw commercial online. Was given this date by my dealer 2 weeks ago. Someone else wrote on here that the dealers are more up to date than Vw customer services, it seems like this is the case now. Hopefully get it now by mid July. Nearly 9 months from order to delivery it this goes to plan
Further update from my dealer today.......build week moved forward again to week 23. That’s the forth change to build week, all moving forward! (first build week given was week 43!)
I feel like I’ve been quite lucky, but maybe the reduction of posts on this thread over recent weeks suggest VW are getting their act together?

Yes things do seem to be happening. Hope things are looking good for others.
My dealer contract I bought in early March has gone provisional week 17, 18, 24, 26 and now this weekend gone confirmed week 22. So feeling good about that as it should be here mid July now.
My other 1st dealer order placed last November that apparently has August allocation has no build week at all. Pleased I didn’t hold out on for this contract to deliver.

I ordered my new Transporter Kombi T32 Highline 2.0 DSG Biturbo back in January 2021 to find yesterday that due to some worldwide electrical issue that my vehicle does not even have a build date ! I have been advised it could be later this year before i get the Kombi and that the CADDYS have been all been put back to 2022 !

Only didn’t order that because I hadn’t seen one in the flesh. It’s a stunning colour
Ordered our panel van to convert in January. Was told April for delivery but inevitably delayed. Dealer said July build. Contacted VW via chat for an update, as no response from dealer via email. Told it’s going to build week 22 (week commencing 31st May). Hopefully have it end of June - early July 
Can’t wait to start converting. Different lay out for this conversion. In the mean time, we already have a T6 that we custom converted 5 years ago, so are still able to go camping
