T6 Aftermarket Digital Instrument Cluster

Presumably no good for Startline?
I will create a similar button map for the next one I fit before I rip it. The. The theory is the same, and it seems to clear the winter tyre, but it does not quite get the standard alert.

I know I have gone a bit quiet, mainly focussing on getting the Crafter and 6.1 out there - for which I was a large part of the development - but in fact, the Crafter unit is all my fault. They did not know the vehicle existed since they didn't have it in China. So I feel pretty responsible for getting fit perfectly, so I drove up to Grimsby and donated a free fitting to ensure it was right; we had a new firmware on that vehicle developed and installed whilst I was there, I had them on tap doing the night shift to rectify any faults.
It's been seamless since

BUT... This!! EVEREST-VW DIGIDASH CONNECTED - HEAD UNIT SYNC KIT: (Connect Box, Link

I dont like to blow my trumpet; that's not me, but there isn't another connect box, let alone a kit that won't end up on eBay once you've tried this! I know of several already.

If you don't like it for whatever reason, you can send it back to me in perfect condition within 21 Days for a full refund as a T6 Forum Special; just PM me through the site, and I will put a note on your order - Owsat! The first two batches are nearly sold out, and I have ordered enough stuff to build 100 kits on the way to me. Yikes! Kind of.. but genuinely. I haven't got the money to burn on bad investments. This is a standout product! So I put my name on it! Since these are going to be getting shown off!

Thanks for everyone's support in getting to this stage! It's only possible with the collective thoughts of the many! Like most things that go on in here!

just received mine and got it up an running, Very impressed! the screen quality is superb. Only issue I have is apparently there is a speed warning set at 59 mph somehow, even though the setting seems to be off... is this the multiple down/ok thing???

@antony.charnley you have an Alpine Halo in your van so all the videos are with that, so I am a little confused still about what the system looks like / works like with a discover media pro head unit. Have you installed any with this yet? Thanks

In the Menue ( “calibration” if I remember right ) scroll down to reboot and confirm rebooting
Then the speed warning should be gone

What vehicle ?

If you had a T6 Highline cluster 100% follow my guide on how to clear speed alerts on my website in the FAQ section.

If you have a 6.1 you should clear in advance from the head unit settings under vehicle. Then you multi function steering controls can never touch it.

Startline I believe the 5*((down and ok)*9 times, then right) should fix you.

Please could you elaborate on this Startline sequence Antony? Not seen this before.

It's not perfect but the algebra is there: try..

Down, ok (repeat 9 times)
Right
Down, ok (repeat 9 times)
Right
Down, ok (repeat 9 times)
Right
Down, ok (repeat 9 times)
Right
Down, ok (repeat 9 times)
Right

It's the same as a terminal disconnect. I also have this feeling that the Reboot command at the bottom of the Configuration menu might stock set the BCM. But that I have not fully confirmed yet, it behaves in a similar way. Probably, it just changes the way the virtual reboots, but it clears lingering messages and I think helps clear cache following firmware run in.

Tricky conversations to have with China since half the time they don't know what I'm on about..
