T6 Delays

When i decided to buy a Caravelle i went to my dealer and i have no idea why but mine was in stock unregistered.. i was chomping at the bit there and then..
so we did a deal and it was mine the week after.. :)

I am now in hannover ,factory tour in the morning ,I will hopefully post some pictures tomorrow ,fingers crossed I might see my van going down the line .
Not only 2 T6 caravelles in the hotel car park ,but an edition 30 aswell .

T5 or T6 ? been wondering if there was a new E30 out
T6 edition 30 ,I think vw must use this hotel ,more than a coincidence 3 velle's in one place ,plus every other car is vw

Just had a phone call from my dealer to tell me my van has arrived on a lorry this morning now just need to wait a few weeks for them to check it and get my number plate on it. Can't wait

Got mine in four days after transporter dropped it off. Told the dealer I needed it urgently.

Sounds like I need to get after him then and see what he says need to get to him to sign paper work. How long was it after you done all the paper work?

Mine is at dealers too so it's ironic I'm still posting in "t6 delays" because if I wasn't having the spoiler on it I could of had it today which was my due date ;)

Bugger the private plate for a while , I'm going around in a 66 :)

Mine took about 2 hours, maybe less, to sort out payment, paperwork and the 1 weeks free gap insurance. Before this I had chance to look round the van to check the condition and options, took me 5 minutes because I wanted to get out of there and drive it. They need time to clean it inside and out and fit number plates, wheel nut covers etc. after they have taken delivery. My interior was a bit smeary from whatever they used to clean it, I sorted this out myself because I had waited long enough for the van.

Should you not check its all is ok before you pay? your a very trusting guy @DaveBos ;)

Had my 5 minutes, didn't want to wait another 12 weeks if it was not specced correctly. Did check the that it had LED's, sat Nav and camera though, these where my only expensive options. 12 weeks is nothing compared to your wait @StudleyGlass , but it was a long 12 weeks for me.

They were fitting new production line in the Factor ,this might speed things up ,720 vans a day is the most they can do ,production alters if people are on holiday or off sick .once they know how many staff are in then it alters production.
Going on some of our waiting time they must of had skeleton staff in
