T6 DSG 150bhp Dual Mass Flywheel

Hi guys,

Picked up my T6 from the dealers yesterday after requesting they got the cambelt sorted etc... They got the cambelt done with all genuine kit and by a vw specialist and showed me the top half of the receipt to prove this when picking up. What they didn't show me was the report saying that the dual mass flywheel is knocking.

Does anyone know what my rights with this is? Can I request the dealer to sort it out? Can I hand the vehicle back if they don't?

Does anyone have any idea what the dual mass and clutch will cost?

Just had mine done £1200.

The tip.is unless you feel it whilst driving dont worry. I got mine done anyway as I'd rather not cause gearbox damage.

Even the new ones the part has little stubs that rattle but since having mine done it's certainly sorted the rattle noise
