[T6_measured] 20-High Beam Assistant, part 1

Getting dark up here. Realised that I never measured High Beam Assistant "response".

High Beam Assistant turning high beam back on​

Factory installed High Beam Assistant. OEM LED headlights, MY18 LHD T6.
Drizzling morning, 40 minutes before sunrise, heading north.

Pictures are 0.100 seconds apart thus van moving approx. 2.3 meters in-between (83 km/h). High beam back ON in the last picture - approx. 0.5 seconds after passing oncoming car.

Another interesting one - to me at least

Resilience to reflection of van's own light.​

On my route a fairly large traffic sign was renewed - van's own lights do reflect back really strongly (see reflection on dash. Pictures are 1.00 seconds (equals 23 metres) apart, thus the first one is approx. 450 meters before the traffic sign. Impressively the high beam stays on - as it certainly should. I have reproduced this without fail tens of times.

Yet another interesting one - to me at least

Street lights ahead - but eventually steering away.​

Pictures are 1.00 seconds apart, thus approx. 23 metres between them. The high beam stays on - as it certainly should - having non-moving light objects ahead. Definitely it looks like there is more intelligence than just detection of bright spots.

Sorry about wiper arm blocking the view at 17:42:01 - it was drizzling, thus as dark as it can get.
