Maybe selling my 19 rr banded only 5 months old had a brand new set of tyres on at vw only 3 weeks ago I been too busy to get the tracking done since I put my solos on. Thought £1900

You may have seen but Im looking to sell my 18in banded steels. They will be off and ready start of next week so if anyone knows someone looking let me know.
Nothing wrong with them, just going a different direction.

Looks superb! What finish did you get your wheels in? I could tempted to get a 2nd set for summer in that finish and keep the current ones for winter :sneaky:

Duchy chrome same as @Tourershine

In my opinion that's the best look on yours to date. You wouldn't think the Chrome would go so well against Red, but it really does.
I was never sure on chrome or silver colour.. I've tried cantera in the bog standard colour and hated it! Then I got the rolls Royce and that colour I loved and knew it worked. It took the purchase of those to get me here though!

love the 18 duchy size, the comfort, the cheaper tyres (than 20s) and the fit and workmanship is spot on.

had to stop the idiots at the tyre place putting knock on weights on the outside!! Used a different tyre place as mine isnt open Saturdays anymore! Nearly chocked on my drink as I saw him take the weights out the box!!!!

Caught the rear today on a curb. Thoughts on best treated?

I've caught several of my Chrome banded steels over my years, the latest chink was done by driving over my work platform leg :cautious: but like @RedUn suggested, I will just touch them up with a Silver paint temporarily until I have the chance to have the wheel refurbished. It just so happens that I got my 19s back off Jamie a few days ago after he did all 4 wheels for me and a fantastic job he did. He's playing around with ways to seal the deep recess on the 19s, to stop the crud getting right in there and the latest is pretty good.

As for rim protection on these. Unless you go huge balloon tyres, it's almost impossible to find a tyre that will 100% protect a steel rim, and look good in the process, so I just live with the fact it's a risk.

Whilst I'm replying to one question, it would be rude not to post the latest picture for Team BB.

This is actually on the set of the latest series of Peaky Blinders in Manchester. My daughter lives a few minutes away from this place and walking around this area it's absolutely stunning seeing the mix of old and new. I'm certainly not a city guy, but I see the appeal my daughter has with this city and it's people, she will probably live there most of her life now.
