The "other" T6 forum

I don't like the whole "cool" image thing but I do like the vans and some of the cars.

Loads of nice comments on our travels from all sorts of people; just seems like a happy vehicle to own and for us, it's ticket to awesome holidays and weekend fun.

Some incredibly bitter folk on that other forum but they are actually better than the Cali forum lot. They really are completely up themselves.

A good gang here with a nice balance. Nice to not be the only appreciator of standard OEM stuff too.

I agree that we have awesome people on here, I have only seen supportive nice comments. I am keeping my Kombi quite standard and don't feel pressured to mod it where as I always did with the T5.

Well they seem to have stopped me posting at the same time as having almost no traffic at all.
It'll die soon just like that other T6 forum effort.

image.jpg image.jpg I don't have my first car but as close as damn it, same car, same colour. Also have a t25 camper, each one puts a smile on my face every time I drive em and T6 is amazing, as I put it to everyone that asks me, it's like driving a spaceship but guess I'm comparing it to the old school golf and t25

When I statred looking for a T6 I made the mistake & joined the Cali forum and quicly found out what a bunch of tools most of them were, I think the person who said they were buying into a way of life made my eyes rolll and told me all I needed to know . I looked around for another forum and found the other T6 one then noticed the messages were not that uptodate  and a link on soem profiles to this forum so I joined and found it a lot better. People are normal though soem of you make me feel poor with the cars you have.:)

First and foremost, we're all here for the same interest. The T6. Bouncing ideas and advice off each other with some banter along the way. No matter how much or how little you want to tweak your vans, that's the simple appeal of them. Different specs, different colours, different personalities, different bank balances .... and diffarent credit card balances !
Great forum with a great atmosphere :)

I saw an absolute beauty of a T25 in Galicia this Summer; a jacked up Synchro with the same engine as our Subaru (the original engine died) and really nicely kitted out.

Only that van and ours were able to access a cliff top area to freecamp. Felt a bit special.

Dad ran one for about 12 years too.
Have you seen that cool 1/25 scale model Revell does of a T25 Joker? I might have to buy one...!

Love this! It's true! We are all here for the same thing!

totally agree, I have been on a few other forums for different cars and they don't seem as active as this one, have had some good advice, now have "clunky doors" caravelle side repeaters, all thanks to this forum :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
