The Sandwich Van. My T6 project

To be honest I’m not sure, the units came with the cutout. And I think the hob will be handy for tea, coffee and pot noodles. The sink I’m not sure if I will use for more than filling a kettle but time will tell.
Ah fair enough. If there's a cut out you don't have a choice  unless you pop a temp surface on the top and experiment without. Sink and hobs look good etc but in practice I'm not convinced they're worth all the extra effort, space and cash.
.
Good luck with it all, lookin very swish!

Those are definitely factory rear LED lights fyi.
Only the red position lamp (the E) are LED and the turn signal, brake and rear reversing are halogen bulbs.....I could be wrong
thanks buddy yeah i had a good look and it would appear so. i guess i will just sell the others in that case and take it as a stroke of luck

yeah i’m inclined to agree. i’ll have to make plenty of cups of tea to make up for it

Well i had a half day on the wiring today. got all the cabinets out and ran my supplies for the fridge, control board and a couple of USB ports. i’ve also started putting in the ehu circuits but trying to find routes for the cables that don’t run near any 12v is a bloody nightmare.

that was all the bits bench tested the other day

tomorrows plan is to get the main bits ran into place, the units back in so i can wire up the fridge. i must admit im pretty excited to get it all together now.

I dream of being that close to the finish... very good job!

Thanks Dude, today didnt go quite to plan but its certainly getting there. most of the wires are in and its all test fitted now. I need to work out how to make some more space under my passenger seat as its now pretty congested.

So I've made a bit more progress on the Van and wiring. The bulk is now in and working which is great and I've only got a few more little jobs to finish it all off.
I think ill let the pictures do the talking as this certainly turned what felt like a rats nest of wires into something useful and i was amazed how much i went through in total.

That was me marking out and mocking up the panelling ready to run the wires then test fitting the control panel.

Wires being draw through this was one loom of a couple but it did take some time to think about what i wanted. I've also gone OTT on wire size to allow for expansion if ever needed.

Then i had to runt he cable for the EHU, i have a hidden flap to fit but haven't got aroung to that yet
