Third row seatbelt reinforcement bracket

Can anyone shed any light on how to install the d pillar reinforcing bracket for the third row seatbelt. I’ve searched the forum and google but haven’t found any leads. Mine is a LWB panel van so doesn’t have the reinforcement fitted from factory.
Thanks in advance

Yes it’s difficult.

We drill small holes in the corners of the bracket. Put welding wire on them and use that to guide into place. We add a little adhesive to the face to hold it in place. Once the belt is in and the glue has dried it won’t move.

Thank you. Where abouts do you start putting them behind the panel? Top bottom left or right please? The lower bracket that you can’t buy bracket for, is that what holds the reel in place or the opposite end of the seatbelt?

Send a pic of your van interior and I’ll show you

And on a LWb the lower should be fine from memory - I edited my response when I realised this.

As you can maybe guess, it’s an ex rac lwb. I see the threaded captive nut in front of the wheel arch for the tail of the seatbelt. I also see the hole and tab where the reel fits. It’s just the one at the top

Ok you go through here and feed it round to the right position where you have predated your hole. Like I say it’s very tricky but doable - we’ve done loads

I see, many thanks. Is there a measurement for where to pre drill the hole? Does anyone have a lwb kombi that wouldn’t mind measuring from a set point to where the top seatbelt bracket is on their van?
@BognorMotors is it a case of pushing it in from the back end or send a wire in from the front end as well so it can be pushed and pulled. Many thanks for your help so far
