Top 12v Dash Socket Fuse

All designed to get you back in the dealers workshop methinks.

That crossed my mind, seems a little unnecessary to have the access panel smaller than the fuse box!
I've also learned it's a good idea to put something under the fuse box as the floor liner ends so when the fuse you can't hold properly pops out it disappears nearly out of reach under the flooring!
I can't believe how long it took to perform a very simple task with this van!

If it's any consolation, it isn't just these vans. It seems to be industry wide.

I have a 2018 Highline and have the same problem.... It is definitely not in the centre below the gearstick !!! Did anyone ever find it? I've spent ages looking, and cant run my dashcam.
Does anyone know of any other fuse locations? As I think VW make it up as it goes along.
Also my van is just in warranty, so would it be covered if I made the 40mile round trip?

It doesn’t look like a fuse it’s a box fuse that looks like a relay.

The socket on top of the dash can also be this one under the passenger seat. Here are all of the known positions;

Mine was a blue box fuse in that empty location slot.
