Type 1, Type 2, Landrover, T6??

Too many miles and specific statement about warranty (or lack of!) would worry me no end. Pass the bargepole please.
Good point. If they're not even prepared to abide by a customers statutory rights under CRA 2015 then they're not trustworthy.

Indeed, misrepresenting a sale to the retail market as a trade sale is verging fraudulent. Reported to Ebay.

Thanks yes I've seen this one, ideally I would like ply lined, tow bar etc...ready to work!
Also I think the ebay reviews weren't the best.

They look like they could provide that service of fitting for you perhaps in some sort of deal as they look like they convert.
Negative reviews were mainly parcel delays which happens.
Looks to be a clean and well serviced van from a far and not a bad price

Thanks yes looks like well serviced van but ideally if like barn doors for better work access. Fussy?
Yes!

Not fussy at all - little point spending cash on a vehicle that doesnrt suyit your needs Barn doors are popular for the reasons you state, tailgates tend to be preferred by campers.

My t5.1 work van had barn doors, our t6 camper has a tailgate. There are occasions when a tailgate would have been handy on the work van. It offers decent shelter in rai, but is awkward if you’re continually in & out of the back of the van. Barn doors come into their own if you need to load the van with a forklift, I never did. Knowing what I know now & considering how I used my work van, I would probably plump for a tailgate if I was speccing a new work van. But as I’m retired, it’s moot.

MOT history doesn't look too bad. If you like it get a pro inspection before buying.

I've just asked for a video on this van which ticks a lot of boxes. High miles but would be interesting to see what a great service history looks like?
Haldex service would be nice - although I am finding with older vans its not always been done!!

The high mileage would worry me but I suspect that's only because I'm a numpty when it comes to mechanical stuff so know nearly nothing about that aspects of cars (and therefore have always bought nearly new and low mileage!). Otherwise, it does seem Ito be a very good spec for the money. Maybe try getting them to put a 12 month warranty on the van rather than negotiating the p[rice down - it's always worth a go and can't hurt to try. It might also be worth buying or borrowing a Carista dongle to plug in and show up any faults - unwillingness to let you do it would ring the alarm bells for me.

That looks a tidy van in the pictures.
Depending upon your nighttime lighting expectations, coming from your Land Rover, those lights are the most disappointing offerings from vw.
The display screen on the head unit, make sure that is fully functional when using the touchscreen, they tend to go wrong and need repair
Hopefully the service history includes having cambelt and water pump being replaced?
Sliding door lock is another thing to check. This time of year they can struggle to unlock first try.

Walk around video show some minor dents
Haldex service 2018 & 2020 but nothing for last 40k miles
Cam belt & pump at 137k miles
Pretty much fsh
3 months parts and labour warranty

Thanks I like the dongle idea!

....and so the search has currently arrived at 2016 T32. It really does tick all boxes apart from the location!!

Apart from colour that's exactly the same as mine, which I've owned for more than 5 years. Best vehicle I've ever owned.
If you go and see it check to see if it's had a cam belt (lots on this forum about it) and a Haldex service, which is often overlooked. (also plenty of info on this forum).
Neither would be deal breakers for me but might be bargaining points.
When you see a van that ticks all of your boxes you've got to be prepared to travel to check it out.
