Under Matt insulation

Hi
Is it possible, or even worth installing ‘dodo dead matt duo’ under the original rubber matting in the rear?
Also. Will I need a deep step for the factory rubber Matt? Or will the original fit?
It was a panel van before 3 weeks ago. And I started working on it.
Just fetching the Matt and seats this week.
Thank you

Hi @cfdave ... We did this ...but not with “dodo mat “ but with silent coat only..as we wanted to stop some road noise as it is a big empty space when you first get your van ...but really due to the thickness of matting it would cause issues with steps perhaps...but once we got the van where we want it put carpet down that would help with insulation

edit...if you just use silent coat It does not effect step height

edit Mine was a kombi to start with...as a panel van you might , although not sure if you need deeper steps...but try the rubber Matt first and see if if tucks under And go from there....
