Have previously been a tent camper then motorhomer and am now actively searching for a VW T6 Campervan conversion with the plan to do lots of solo travelling and the odd trip with friends. With the help of this Forum I should hopefully make a well informed purchase

Hi Everyone! I'm early awaiting our conversion currently in the workshop of Cambridge Campervans. Hopefully ready this week. It's Candy White but I'm going to get some Beatnik decals for the sides. I'll post a picture when I get it. Thanks for all the tips and tricks I've been reading about on this Forum.

been sat on the sidelines reading etc for a few weeks but I have finally done and bought a t6!! Picking her up on Monday and can’t wait.
plan is to insulate and line, few roof lights and triple seat fitted in back.
might need to ask a few questions once I start so please be patient with me! Lol

New member but thanks to everyone as I used this forum a lot whilst deciding to get a T6. Had an ancient T4 once and a shocking T5 for a few months! I’m doing it right now and picking up a T6 kombi highline 204 manual. Can’t wait - I expect the pockets to be emptied routinely now with mods! Fortunately the previous owner went to Vanworx to get a nice leather interior out in so at least that will save a few pennies!

Sounds like you’ve bought similar to what I’m looking for, can you recommend sites to look on?

I’ve so far checked out a few places - Vanworx and New Wave CC look to have awesome facilities, CRS performance in Cannock seem to be all over suspension etc... who else - Leighton Vans, Raceline Sportvans, Vanclan, Martin Atkinson Specialist Vans. Enjoy...I’m looking to sort the ride out first (not that it’s horrible) and start the whole sound deadening and lining game! I’m in Gloucestershire but work down Barry way so can get to a decent range of places. Think van worx have a gaff in Somerset in addition to their place down Portland.

Hello, due to be picking up my 66 plate Starlight Blue Kombi SWB from Listers at Coventry on Friday. It’s currently languishing in a compound sulking in a filthy state.
I like to keep things OEM (am I alone in this?)
But will be installing some sort of folding bed system after it’s been over to Snugcampers at Malton for some carpet treatment and some electrics.
