Welcome new members

Hi all, getting our conversion from Rolling Homes (Shrewsbury) in a couple of weeks or so. Really excited. It will be T6.1 150bhp manual 2L Diesel. Ooooo, exciting times ahead with camping with our daughter. I am sure that I will be asking for some tips and tricks from you members and seasoned T6 owners.

Nice looking van Stu. Welcome along.
Some wheel spacers on those rear steelies will make them look great.
And have a read up about swapping a single to a double re: the air-bag.

Good Afternoon. I have a T28 150 T6 manual 67 plate that I’ve owned since it was 6 months old. Pic attached.
Very happy with it however I‘ve decided I want to improve it and carry out a few tweaks. I plan to start with wheels and lowering. I’m looking to fit 20” Supermetal Trident wheels.
Supermetal have advised me to fit 275/35/20 tyres. Have been carrying out some research and it seems that sporty tyres wear quickly. Not too keen on budget tyres so was thinking of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. Any advice / observations appreciated.
Regards,
Graham

Just got the same dude! What sort of DIY kit are you going for???
Good choice :D Thinking of getting this Evo 5.4F LWB Like the double 3 shelf wardrobe & the curved cupboard behind the drivers seat (Plan on a swivel). I've done a few things so far Audio, Sound deadening, Insulation, Egr pipe:mad:. Just about to do rear passenger quarter window and fake drivers rear quarter window. keeping me busy and spending the budget!

Thought I would say hello as I have just picked up a gorgeous fully converted Cherry Red T28 140. I will get some pictures up in the morning!
First job is to get it ready to go - gas bottles, tableware, bedding etc. I want to fit a passenger swivel so looking at the Rusty Lee after a read on here, we also want a heater so currently reading up on that (thinking externally fitted webasto)

Anyway, hi and thanks for the advice so far (I've been lurking for a bit:)

Hello everyone, I’m Alan, longtime lurker and after a 3 years pipe dream, we are about to buy our first transporter, with three kids and all the stuff that comes with that we think they are ideal and quite often stare with envy over those in the carparks loading up there transporters whilst I play car boot jenga! Plus they are seriously cool!

Any way, hello!
