Welcome new members

We picked up our 66 plate Acapulco Blue CK Monte Carlo at the beginning of September and have already done 1400 miles in it. We absolutely love it and have several more trips planned (COVID dependent!). We bought it from Kevin at LKW in Kidlington who was brilliant at explaining the finer points of the van to us.

Hi all,

My new T28 T6.1 Highline in Cherry Red should be getting delivered next week replacing my Merc Sprinter money pit race van and also probably being utilised as a daily & bolt hole get away van for me at the weekends.

Already ordered some 'bits' for it, splitter for the front, spoiler for the rear and some Matts (exciting).

Been looking at getting some nice leather seat covers? is there such a thing? Some of the ones i've seen on google look great in pictures.... any thoughts?

Anyway,

Hello!

Welcome to the Forum, you'll certainly find plenty of pointers and advice. The level of knowledge on here seems endless. We sound proofed, insulated and carpet lined our Kombi during the early April lock down. The dry warm weather helped........hope you have a good Autumn.

Hi All,

Just joined T6 forum as I am picking my van up next week...Very excited! Happy to post pics, spec etc in due course, but in summary a 2020 T32 Highline SWB 199. It has c2500 miles on the clock and (compliments of the friend I am buying from) has more or less everything on it that I could ask for. My searches for random information has pointed me to T6Forum on a few occasions already, so thought it would be a good idea to join.

Welcome to T6F. You only think it's got everything that you want - folks on here can always show you new and innovative ways to spend even more money on things you never even knew you needed!

Hi Ayjay, thanks for the kind welcome. Even a brief browse through threads suggest that you are highly likely to be correct as a few bits have already caught my eye!

Evening! Probably should have started by posting here, but got stuck in straight away. Liking this place since I started lurking a few weeks ago!

Hey, Newbie here. Owned many cars in my lifetime, but have now taken the plunge on my dream T6 Shuttle. Reflex Silver DSG T32 TDI SE 9 Seater - Awaiting delivery. Any one know how to get the VIN from the VRN? Hopefully this will take the same route as my Golf Mk4 ARL which pushed 300 bhp from Darkside.

Hi T6F...thanks for accepting me...looking forward to picking up my T6 T32 kombi on Monday. Looking through the vast expanse of alloy wheels just to get the ball rolling on getting it personalised. Looking to get 18” alloys with the correct load rating, any suggestions on best sites to visit?

Hi all. Just signed up as this looks like a great resource! My wife and I have just acquired a 2015 LWB T6 to convert into a camper, to be honest she's the driving force behind this and I'm the manual labour! I'm happy enough with spanners (long time Land Rover owner) but wiring is alien to me, however we're jumping straight in and learning as we go. Thanks in advance to you helpful bunch for answering newbie questions (although I promise to search before asking!)
