I've been lurking for a while but we have our van now so it is time to say hello. We have a 2018, T6, T32, Highline, LWB, DSG, 150ps, 1+1, 2+1, kombi van with reversing cameras, @93k miles

Initial 'upgrades' are seat covers, rubberdash trim, a 3d printed cup holder for that silly hole in the dash, floor mats for the seat rows, LED internal lights. We will probably by a carpuride android auto display as we canpt afford an Alpine Halo 9 or 11 any time soon!

This is to be a day van'/ adventure van rather than a camper.

From there and in a sort of order but will take advice.
A tow bar as we already have a v good thule 4 bike tow bar carrier. (with 13 pin plug)
insulate and sound deaden the back ourselves.
A remap.
Then start talking to companies about plywood and wiring in a 12v panel for passengers (and maybe further back too) and more celining lights.
We are considering looking having the 3rd row of seats enabled so we could move the seats forwards or backwards. I imagine leaving the seat belts in place and having new ones put in.
Swivel bases
A panel insert for the sliding door to hold stuff/ a table. to be decided and other little things.

In time... sound deaden doors and get new speakers and a halo 9 or 11.

That is as it occurs to me now. Am here for advive and inspiration

Cheers all

Good morning All just signed up after buying a T5 work van as a project, lots to do, Cam belt kit to fit as a start because no evidence of it being done, 1.9pd so relatively easy, the cam sensor is showing a fault on Ross-tech although it runs fine so need to look at that, back lights have a mind of their own, select reverse get brake lights ? sidelights and indicators at same time get alternating flashing like a railway crossing so that will be interesting and some bodywork to clean up which is the easy bit because I am a painter for work, wish me luck and i will get back with pics once I crack on regards Steve (MrHatt)

Like it so much I added it twice. Lol. This was before an engine replacement in June 24 80% contributed by VW. But the wing mirror happened 3 days ago, ordered a metal bracket with only no retaining hole, new one on the way.
