Hi all, great to be on board with my t6 ps102 conversion. Had my first outing over the weekend and loved it :)
Still a lot to learn, but the forum has settled my nerves and looks great.

Hey
Just purchased a T6 Kombi (a dream for ages) picked it up tonight. Next logical step, join you guys and girls to get some knowledge about mods/conversions etc.

Hi all
I have 2 month the new Multivan Highline 146kW front wheel drive DSG geargox.By today 5000km on it.
I must say it is not well done as my old T4 Multivan 111kw.
Yes it is nice new no noise when driving. Good working ACC tempomat.
But only for people under 2 meter high. Inside is 2,5 cm smaller botom to roof than in T4 Multivan. Quality is not so good cables under seat not clipped and no cover under electrical driver seat. Now problem with vibration on sport chassi 1BV.
Best Regards Miroslav

Just about to get my first T6 - petrol, first van in fact.

This seems like a great place with vast amounts of knowledge. looking to do a minor conversion. Insulation, R&R bed etc. So hoping to steal some experiences and share some!

Sorry no time for foto. I had big issue with winter tires. I have today aranged to make new balancing by special machine Hunter with presure force and the result was good. One tire out of tolerance and after refiting on rims again OK
No vibration and the Multivan is good. The sport chassi must have good balancing machine with force.
Best Regards

Hey All,

Just thought I would say Hi, new to the VW world, our new T6 Caravelle arrives next week and very excited to see what she can do. Having 4 kids and a big caravan hoping she lives upto the hype.

Coming from a Range Rover as a tow car and and Renault Espace as the family wagon, so combing the two.

Looking forward to lots of discussions and and drawing on all your knowledge.

:)

Picked up a 2015 t6 kombi so must be one of the first t6. It's a 180 dsg 4motion with twin sliders, so quite a hard spec to find hence buying it near London and driving it home to north of Aberdeen!! Currently 400 miles and 7hrs done 120 miles to go  little computer says 34mpg which isn't bad when sitting at 80

enjoy the van, I found choice was so limited locally and prices were crazy in comparison to going south, I didn't have to go quite as far south as you though.

Cheers,
Have done it twice before for subaru imports so didn't really bother me, being close to airport helps more than being closer

Hello everyone!
This is my first post in this forum. I'm a independent courier (long distance). I've always been a VW Transporter fan but never owned one. Currently drive Ford Transit Connect and due to my customer needs I have to upgrade to a bigger van - T6.

Hi all,

Looking to buy my first VW Tranporter so any advice would be gratefully received. I am looking to spend £15k to £19k need auto or DSG 5 seats and enough room for a mobility scooter in the rear. What are my options? Is Transporter or Caravelle the best option? What do I need to look for when buying and owning?

Many thanks
