They will be going onto a black Kombi, was very reluctant to have all black but have just seen the new sportline advertised which is exactly that and it looks great so pretty pleased.

Yeah will do, ironically will have the wheels before the van is delivered. Got 8 days to push until delivery, fingers crossed.

Hi all, just about to get my first VW Van and am thinking about wheels. I stumbled across this thread and was just getting into when it just went a bit "Ann Frank's Diary". I signed up immediately to beg for the ending.
Commando83, did you get you van and wheels? How do they look? How do they ride? Do continentals point and laugh when you roll past on your 18s?

Hi Brad,
Yeah the van was all finished off some time ago now. I bought the wheels separately from a guy in Plymouth, along with the side rails.
This is my first van also, so have little to compare ride quality to other than if it’s the wheels they are banging on the sportline then that is good enough for me.

Good Thread this, cheers all. Has anyone actually used Van-XS? The price on there for a wheel and tyre package for 20in rims seems too good to be true.
I’ve already lowered 30mm onto VW 18in but want to fill the arches a little more. No rough as a badgers butt campsites for me so I’ll be ok on ride etc.
Would be great to know if anyone has used these guys, if they are decent I’m buying some black DTM’s for my nice white van.
It’ll take my mind of my malfunctioning Media system for a while anyway
