Quite agree, Salt is a brilliant brewery, much better than Brewdog, who in my opinion have lost their way in recent yearsJust polished this off. Very nice. Bought it last week in North Yorrkshire. Gutted that I only bought the one.View attachment 142767had a can of Tram from Salt brewery before this. Everything from Salt is brilliant.

Delivery this week, succumbed to an offer from Best of British Beer, so one case of traditional bitters and one of dark beers.
I'm never going to finish this malt whisky advent calendar!

Yep, I have, it is called a Golden in Liverpool, haven't heard anyone having it for years though. I used to order it when I was underage as it made the bar staff think I was older, always workedIn between Christmas and the New Year, me and the Mrs had a few days in Whitby…. had a lovely time. Anyway, we had a few drinks in one particular pub at the bottom of the 199 steps up to the Abbey…. and whilst sat enjoying a lovely pint of Yorkshire Blonde, a chap came in and asked for half a Carling and half a John Smith’s in a pint glass!?
The lad behind the bar said we can’t do that and after a bit of ‘an argument’ the chap said f#ck this and walked out!
Anybody heard of this? I remember a pint of mixed (half mild/half bitter) and a snakebite (half lager/half cider), but never a lager/bitter mix?
There was a pub we used to go to aged 14(!) where you could order any drink you fancied but you only ever got served half a mild. Found out years later that “the old guy” at the bar was the chief constable and he knew most of our parentsYep, I have, it is called a Golden in Liverpool, haven't heard anyone having it for years though. Have another one - there’s always the next flight!
I was in Londinium last night and they had the Proper Job tap next to the Camden Ale tap….decisions, decisions!!!
