That’s a good price! Where I am we have a specialist beer shop come bar, nice beer from Belgium etc but some of them are over £20 a pint if drinking in the back room.

You can also buy the 750ml bottles of beer… for £29!

They do some stuff around the three quid mark.

Nicest I have tried in a little while was the Das is Techno Sex. The holographic can is lush, should have got a picture.

You can’t compare Belgian beer to drinking pints. It’s like comparing your T6 to a transit

The owners used to own the Spire pub in Coventry city centre too (the building is literally just a church spire - the rest was demolished in the blitz), but that got sold to a local brewing company… who also do some nice beers .

Then we have the Twisted Barrel micro brewery and tap house at Fargo (an artsy ‘village’ with all sorts of good stuff going on) and there is a brilliant tiny French style bar near the Belgrade Theatre.

If your ever this way you could do an awesome pub crawl with actual decent beer!
