Champagne after todays result!

Had to take a trip the local Audi dealership due to the wife’s Q2 coming up with a gearbox malfunction fault, still drivable and with all the gears available, reverse was slightly troublesome to find.
After googling the issue, I was directed to a Q2 forum (not as professional as here I hasten to add) there were horror stories of replacing the whole gearbox to other tales of woe.
**It did go in last year for a recall for a software update for the gearbox.

Not long had a call from their technician, it is looking like the hydraulic gearbox pump, which is located behind the gearbox (the whole shebang needs to be removed) could be the issue so a new part has been ordered, if this doesn’t rectify the problem then it might be a gearbox replacement £££££

Once I had manged to restart my heart and about to go into an apoplectic rant he said
“No need to worry, everything is covered under the warranty from the software update”

Chin chin all.

Absolutely nothing. Got proper food poisoning on Wednesday, recovering slowly, but I suspect a drink could kill me.
What makes it all the worse is that we are having a fireworks party tonight, and everyone else will be drinking like fish
