Do you have a deep fat fryer for the chips?Tonight’s meal, homemade cheesy veg bake with additional veg. We’re not veggie by any stretch of the imagination, but we like this dish. We’re in the Alps skiing & this is one of our pre-prepared meals that we bring with us. We batch cook an assortment of curries/stews (last night we had Osso Bucco), portion them up, vac-pack them & freeze them. We pack them into a cool box & stick the box outside in the snow when we get to the ski area. Stick the ready meal into a pan of hot water, throw the veg/rice/pasta into the same pan & voila. A hot nutritious (cheap) meal in 20mins, which is about the time it takes us to get showered. When you’re done, use the hot water to wash up. Simples.View attachment 224637View attachment 224637
