What Have You Bought Today?

@S700. What towbar do you have? Tailgate or barn doors? If Tailgate, does it open when the rack is folded? I ask because I've got a Westfalia Detachable on mine with a Thule Easy Fold rack and the tailgate does NOT clear the rack. I think I can live with it but it does annoy me a bit! Cheers.

I have an atera rack and it clears the tailgate ok when tilted. I was going to get the wetfalia detachable but went for a tow trust one instead.

Roof panel ordered and carpeting on the way from Harrisons trim supplies excellent service from them this morning :)

A few essentials for the van when i finally get it. In the meantime, going to be put to good use while I prep the care for sale

I’ve got a Westfalia demountable towbar with a tailgate and the tailgate clears the rolled back rack by about 20mm providing there is a bike on it, if no bike, it is very close but the weight of my foot on the bar will allow clearance - saying that the upright will fold down if no bike is on it.

Bought ages ago but got called to collect my awning and sofas and loads other junk I’d forgotten about

Not quite as good as @Ricardo T 's new 6.1 van purchase, but a purchase non the same:

After loosing our windscreen cover twice last year, once with Storm Ciara and then again with Storm Francis whilst pitching up on seaside beachfront sites, something had to be done to stop a repeat performance in 2021, as I was fed up having to find my "eyes" in the morning somewhere on the campsite
The problem was that the velcro piece under the wing mirrors kept being pulled apart, resulting in the flap over the window frame pulling off in the dead of the night.
The only solution I thought would work is a plastic buckle thing:

Time will tell if it works...

Can you open the front doors when thats in place?

No, unfortunately not.
But it's not an issue for us, as when the "eyes" are fitted to the windscreen, then the front seats are turned around in camping mode.
