What Have You Bought Today?

A 140cm inflatable mattress from Decathlon. Also bought a new another kettle and another awning led light.
That red led should help drum up business when camping!

Edit: bad joke - I misread the original post.

New silver / blue dust caps for the tyre valves. Please ignore the dirty alloys that they are fitted to but they do match the equally dirty van. This might just be the cheapest (£4) and most unnecessary 'upgrade' ever.
They look great. Make sure you put some anti seize on the threads as they do have a habit of welding themselves on

Well, having got the wheel and new tyre back (local tyre man mate was cheaper than Black Circles without even being asked) a close look at the rear brakes showed them to be pretty worn. 28,000 miles and they're near enough ready for the bin. How does that happen? I know the ESP has a lot to do with it, but the front wheels get caked in brake dust compared to the rears, and they look like they've got another 20k in them.

some new car insurance seeing as my original one wouldn't insure the conversion!!!!!!

Can I ask who you went with on your new insurance and who you were with before who wouldn't cover the conversion, as mine is due soon, and I need to look into it .... and make sure the old girl is well covered... cheers. Don

Had these, but in the winter they effectively became a permanent feature, had to cut them off. Make sure you grease them before you put them on and do it periodically. The rain and salt from the road is a bugger.

We already have some very good folding clothes hangers, but needed something for trousers. These arrived from Aliexpress today; they are joined together by split rings, so I took off the hook and central circular piece, and put the spare split ring in the middle. They now fold up smaller and fit tidily in our draw. We will use S hooks to hang them up from the roof.

Is it just me that saw the irony of this on the day that the creator of the Corby Press died?!!
