What Have You Bought Today?

It would be useful to know what you think of the quality of the clusters.
I've been tempted for a while now by the Advanced In-Car kit as they supply genuine VW clusters, but it's a bit on the pricey side.

Just installed the Traveline version. Look awesome AF!

I’ve been to CRS today, I needed some new rear spring rubbers, also was nearly due discs & pads so thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and have them done at the same time.

Came away with the 340mm front calliper conversion, grooved discs, matching rear disc, upgraded pads etc.

Suppose it is Christmas after all!

Saw a few in Tarifa last week , definitely got me thinking, good luck with it
Thanks, we have been looking for a long time, finally decided it was time to take the plunge.

The sensible ‘no brainier’ choice for a camper conversion - stand up throughout and room for a proper toilet/shower cubicle.

We plan on spending some more time travelling, hopefully in Europe, having a toilet and more space would make the whole experience better.

I agree. However you lose the Look, quality of driving and it’s not cool as the Bus .

The T6 is going nowhere! Lucky enough to be able to keep both. Crafter actually drives very well, 1st and 2nd gear are a little short so it’s a bit of a race up the gears but cruises very nicely.

Still a big concern is parking the thing that’s why I love the SWB T6 so much and will still get used in places I know will be horrible to have the bigger van.

Turning circle in the crafter isn’t great!

And, even more importantly in my eyes, the ability to have a bed that you don't have to make up and pack away every day.

Especially when it’s wet! That and forgetting you left something you really need/want in the cupboard blocked by the folding bed…

this was exactly the way i went, sucked up the price as wanted OEM.
far too indulgent really BUT :inlove: the design of them and they make me smile every time i see them (which admittedly isn't that often cause they're behind me but...)

send link to where you bought this easy fix as I too hate the long straps.

@Chris Sherwood. Despite the fact that I've still got reservations about those Quickpops things (don't worry, it's probably just me be over cautious!), I'm leaning towards buying some to try out. Before I do that, is there any chance that you could take a decent picture of one of the buckles as it's hard to see how substantial they are on the Quickpops website. I'm interested to see if they're the same sort of buckle that are used on 'normal' long straps - ie. this sort of thing:

Thanks in advance.

I bought a table mounting kit:

I think I've seen people with it on here already but have never seen it for sale until today, there was only 5 left in stock so I panicked and ordered.

I don't have a table.
Thanks for the link, also purchased as one of my current brackets have snapped.

For clarity, I do own a table.......

@Chris Sherwood @Andpopse. Thanks for the responses but it's all kind of irrelevant now as I've measured the gap between the staples' in the roof and car when the straps are tightened and it's probably too small at approximately 37mm - the website indicates a minimum size of 50mm for them to work.
