What Have You Bought Today?

Well I've just made quite an expensive purchase........

Van Furniture U Shape Layout in Buffalo Board. Opted for the no sink cutout as I've decided to go down the single sink route instead of the typical SMEV sink and hob layout. I have a Jetboil and a CADAC so figured the hob isnt really required.

If anyone has built this U shape layout and has any building tips feel free to shout up

My apologies Chris, building tips for a U shape layout anyone?

Pair of Osram Cool Blue lamps (finally admitted to myself that it bothers me the colour temperature of the fog lamps doesn't match the LED headlamps)

Now just to find time to fit them when it's daylight but not raining...

Hi @roadtripper , my van is having a facelift/nose job next week with highline frontage including fog lamps replacing the remaining remnants of my Startline - poverty model in primer!
I would love to know your thoughts on how those Osram Cool Blues go with your LED's. If they are good enough for you, I will be happy!
TIA

I went by the picture in this post from @MyNameIsMatt

Though having just opened my delivery it would appear Amazon has shipped me H4 lamps... Back to the drawing board :cautious:

Bum and spit!!

Imagine the light show if you switched the microwave on! More spectacular than your new front on the van! Still haven't fitted my night rider LED kit, blessed rain!
Haha. I will try avoid that.
took a pic of the reverse lights on my THQ led rear lights and they are quite impressive and I dare say a lot more effective than the originals. They are LEDs also so can’t be changed anyway.
I couldn’t find the thread we were talking about the reverse lights on so here’s a pic here.

Looking lovely, no errors on dash?

None and I’ve changed them all to LEDs even the side indicators.
I’ve also changed the light knob on the dash which can give you trouble when I fitted the fog light kit. And fitted 2 sets of DRLs which can also give you problems. No codes.
I wired the DRLs to an ignition feed in the fuse box next to the battery and never connected the wires to the headlights which is to dim them when the headlights come on.
I avoided connecting any DRL wires to my THQ headlights so they didn’t throw up codes and I seem to have pulled it all off.
I wanted the DRLs switching on and off with the ignition not the headlights anyway and didn’t want them to dim when the headlights came on. So worked out great.
Only thing is the 2 sets of DRLs stay on for 30 seconds or so after you remove the keys. Not really an issue.
