What Have You Bought Today?

Bloody hell Donk - I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw that.

I knew there'd be at least one member on here who'd feel the same. It failed on our journey home from Cornwall so aircon was either full blast or off.

I can't control myself any longer. I'm gonna fit it right now!

Boooomb! Done. Fitted. My life is complete. (Till the next little project / mod I need to do).

I’ve bought a van.
Well, ordered one. Orange 6.1 shuttle 150 DSG on steelies. I’ll list the options in order of remembered expense:
3 zone air
Heated screen (+mandatory lights&vsion, not LED)
Towbar
Parking sensors
Heated seats
Tint
2nd battery
Rear camera
Swivel
Roof prep
Mud Flaps (my girl’s got ‘em)
Warm nozzles

Should arrive just in time for salted roads.

I've bought a couple of Quicklynks for both my batteries and some velcro. I'm using the CTEK (which I installed at weekend with leisure battery all from TV). Fortuitously I have carpet in cab and velcro famously secures it to the carpeted floor under the drivers seat. Quicklynks Which saved me making some wooden box type monstrosity. I was always terrible at woodwork. Its a black art practiced by magicians.

I've also bought a 6 way fuse/dist box, some USB outlets for the B-Pillar trim, some 1.5mm² wire and some more velcro.

Well done - I'm opposite to you in that I'm quite good with wood but electrickery is a dark art to me. I can wire a plug and follow instructions very well but after that, I'm a danger to myself and others.

I'm mechanically biased. (I'm a Mech Eng) I cannot cut two pieces of wood the same size for the life of me. 2 bits of metal? No sweat, wood? No chance. I'm okay with electricity as its fundementally mechanical in origin. Magnets moving in an electric field.

Badgeless grille and gloss lower grilles. Going to attempt to drill holes for parking sensors as can't find gloss ones with them already in.

By coincidence, I bought one of those for the van today as well. Went into my local camping store yesterday but refused to pay the £6 they were asking and bought one in Asda today for £1.50 (not that I'm tight or anything!).

A set of these.

Snap! Bought the same kit a couple of days ago and just waiting for a pair of grit traps for my buckets to arrive.... and for the rain to stop! Made the mistake of putting a ceramic coat on the brand new Judds when I collected it and then driving it back from Milton Keynes to Bristol. It says leave for 12 hours.... and they mean it! It's a b*****r to get off when it's got brake dust stuck in it! I'll try again soon, and follow the instructions this time!!

Got this done, great result for a great price

I asked if would do a T6 forum discount and he said Yes so £25 rather than £30. Got a digital copy that is high res and will get a print asap

The planets aligned today - spotted a gumtree advert for 3 x 17” steel wheels (no tyres) & 4 caps and an ebay advert for 1 X 17” steel and scrap tyre within 5 miles of each other in Nottingham, all collected this evening.

Just need to decide the powdercoat colour - it wont be copper metal flake like @Tourershine ‘s wheels! Then some winter tyres!
