Bit the bullet and placed an order for a Indel B Cruise 49 Litre Compressor Drawer Fridge.. Expensive but hopefully worth it.
You made a good choice, lots of us are having problems with the Alpicool fridges going haywire with the temperatures, if I can’t get a fix it’s going in the skip
I actually have a Alpicool at moment and the freezer won’t stay frozen unless it’s above 9c in van. Another reason to change.

I had a tow bar fitted a few weeks back and it’s caused my THQ T6.1 V1 headlights to come up with a random error. Convinced it’s the “piggy back” wiring to rear lights that’s caused it. They were fine before I had it fitted. It’s causing my LED bulb in only the passenger side full beam to flicker off and on, then stay on, even when my lights are off. I’ve had to run halogens in the full beams to get round it. I’m totally stumped with it.
Bought two things today actually. The first was the upgrade to my solar panel. After Jason and Noel at @Absolut5 did an amazing job on the leisure electrics upgrade they pulled the van out of the workshop to test it all out and discovered the original 130w panel had died. So today I have been back to collect the van after booking it in for a new 270w panel. Another amazing job done but not without a few challenges. The old panel took 3 hours to remove snd clean up the surface, 2 hours longer than anticipated. My converter obviously didn’t want it to come off! Then came the realisation that the new MPPT wasn’t powerful enough for the new solar panel do that was swapped out too for an upgraded version. All that extra work was done for just £40 more than the original quote. If you want a great job doing at a great price from an honest business, give Jason a call.

You made a better job than me there, I did mine and my drivers side is slightly out due to the sticky gasket! Look awesome though.

I was going to go down the paint route but after seeing the results on a couple of mates roof boxes I wasn’t that impressed.

The other thing(s) I bought today were a set of Devonport wheels from Jason at @Absolut5, he had 2 sets of wheels (with worn out tyres), the centre stars and locking wheel nuts stored in a back room.
I’ve been after a set to get them powder coated to replace my standard silver wheels. It’s far easier to get a second set refurbished than take the van off the road whilst the wheels are being done. I’m just waiting for a quote to do the wheels.
The other set is available if anyone’s interested for £150.00. When I’ve been looking there’s been none available down south.
These are the wheels I’ve bought after a very quick wash.
