What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I looked at this late at night with the door seals they do.. maybe it was the door seals they didnt have.

I got mine from Ebay. I bought as a set with the door rubbers as well.

I got mine from Travelin-light - excellent quality; the instructions they send show you which way round to put the door seals, if you look closely the profile of the rubber is not uniform so there is a right and wrong way.

Fitted a bit more electrics under the drivers seat. I'm rapidly running out of room and wondering where the Victron MPPT charger will go when I get a permanently attached solar panel. Just needs tidying up a bit now, and maybe a bought busbar rather than home made.

Not done as such but all the bits ready for the weekend.. cam belt, water pump, tensioner, coolant, there’s oil and a filter sitting in the back of the van as well, plus a few other easy bits ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just fitted the Kiravans offset swivel to passenger captains seat. Dead easy. Completely changes the dynamics of the interior. Drivers one tomorrow or the day after dependant on the weather!!!

wired in my victron charger, connected via the app, all charging nicely, unplugged charger to change extension lead, plugged it back in - dead, no lights nothing . called victron, no answer, called the retailer, hes never heard of one failing, told me not to bother with the UK sales manager for victron as he never answers his phone!! Retailers going to contact victron in Holland, anyone had a unit fail?

It’s the seller’s responsibility to sort it not the manufacturer or distributor

I thought that but also wondered if this had happened before hence the call to victron. Anyway, retailer has been excellent, will replace asap and victron have requested serial number etc so they can look in I guess stock/quality control.

Fixed the plastic undertray after a disastrous camping trip at the lakes (non stop rain). Set off home early, only to drive through a deep puddle too fast, ripping the undertray off.
Temporary fix using a soldering iron until I can source a new one.20200806_174040.jpg20200806_165516.jpg
For now, my van is called Frankenstein :notworthy:

Finally got the chance to get the van in for it's big service today , timing belt kit &WP, auxiliary belt kit ,oil, oil filter , pollen filter and air filter ;)

Yeah the big one lol, but that's it done for another 4 year , go to same indy garage for around 7 year now and I can't fault there work and for all the work done it was just under £590 ,none of my cars have ever been under warranty so never used a dealer for eny maintenance but a doubt they could come close to matching a good indys prices
