What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Oh they look pretty cool when I get more in I,ll be keeping a set for myself. The amaroks look great. I,m a wee bit byest as I have not long put mine on. They suit silver vans very well.

where you get these? Are the same fitment for T32 4Mo? I need new kit but don’t want spend fortune.
I believe the rears are the same, the fronts on yours will be the larger discs & pads as far as I know.
I got them from my local supplier in Leicester, Graham Goode Racing.

Just fitted some new Osram nightbreaker H4's to my headlights to see if there is much improvement. If not I'm getting new headlights!!

Please do let us know what they are like. I always used to upgrade motorbike headlights to 100W halogen back in the late 80s.

I changed mine to Nightbreakers few weeks ago. They're definitely brighter and whiter.

Fitted H&R ARB’s. The existing NS drop link survived 3 miles before the lower joint severed / failed... I need to replace both me thinks...

Today and last weekend:

1st obligatory mod (I think it's a condition of forum membership?) - dash rubber, but not before i'd lost a playmobil wine glass down there!

Team Heko wind deflectors (all easy stuff so far!)

A customised mat.......

After the first night camped on the driveway - extra poppers on the blackout curtains to seal the gaps (my wife this time)

Bit more effort for this one - Sparesaver spare wheel protector, took a while to get the old bolt off.

This weekend, having confirmed how little storage we have (more on that another day), Kiravans barn door storage, via Amazon for a few quid cheaper. After taking off carpeted ply, and after then after install:

(Sheep's wool insulation, for those wondering!)

And the other side, just to match:

Noticed on the first one as I was banging in the clips, they were all in different directions, so was careful with the second set to get them lined up with the panel, and then managed to rotate the first set.

Finally, another annoying VW abyss to fill:

Unfortunately only two were in stock, so will get some more at a later date when postage is covered by something else.

There's always something else!
Hi what make of insulation did you use? I insulated the van in sheep’s wool and it now smells strongly of a farmyard. I’m having to take it out

o_O

The Leisuredrive handbook mentions "SheepWool Insulation", presumably a proprietary product.

Must say, it didn't have much of an odour when I took the barn door card off. Obviously wool, but not a strong smell. Have not noticed any smell when using it either.

Any pics - is it on roof bars or stuck to the roof and how are you getting the cables into the van, looking at doing this myself but concerned it will come off when driving
I didn’t take any pics sorry. There are a few threads on here with plenty of pics though.

I took one off that was a rigid panel and mounted on roof bars and replaced it with a semi flexible one on the roof.
