yes rivets wouldn’t be strong enough imo.
First trip away, van finished (ish) Thursday, away Friday
Had a stab at making my own sliding door card over the weekend, happy with the outcome, learnt a lot but would probably do it a little different next time. Just got to do the rest of the rear now. 
That’s fantastic. Out of interest what did you use to cut the ply?
Any pics of how you constructed the storage?
All done with a jig saw then sanded wonky lines flat
The storage bit was made from 9mm ply, glued and screwed together, then trimmed, then screwed through from the front before trimming the front.
I forgot to take pictures of that bit while building it, didn’t realise until it was on the door
Re did the roof lining today, a bit of a faff on but got there in the end.
Just attached the finishing touches ( thanks @Dellmassive ) Battery Power Box
1 x 100ah AGM battery
2 x 12v sockets ( upgrade to marine type )
Battery cable to piggyback on van AGM battery ( when on solar )
Terminal’s to connect Ctek battrey charger ( on EHU)
This will supplement the other leisure battery and can power the Dream Led lights ( forever ) ...Gives I hope total flexibility

Took me about 20 mins. I do have a ramp though. One man job, taped into place, drilled pilot holes for screws, fitted with tiger seal & about 14 screws.
