What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

@Texxaco. Looks like a good job though - congrats. I dread to think what sort of a mes I would make of something like that!
There was a point when the words “F&£k It” passed my lips. The wing mirrors were designed to be impossible to remove and wrap. Of that I am certain!

The door handles were gloss black and scratched, wrapping them was a doddle and looks a million times better.

Now I am looking for something else to wrap:oops:

Jeez! First of all you start the “Great Buzzweld Shortage of 2020”....now you’re going to start the “Great Carbon Wrap Shortage of 2021”!!!

Lmao I did actually look round the van and uttered the words “what else can I wrap”. The rear view mirror nearly got wrapped but would look shit!!!

I have to say it, why didn't you lay it so that the 'weave' was handed? You've got one handle pointing back and the other forwards, then one mirror pointing in and the other out.

5 out of 10 from me.
I have to say it was hard enough laying the weave never mind making sure it was symmetrical.

The wing mirrors can stay as they as they were a right royal PITA. Doors handles I will change.

So 7.5 out of 10 from me to me.:sneaky:

Oh @dubber36 - 10 out of 10 from me for the best rinsing yet! Poor @Texxaco’s OCD dial is deep in the red now! He won’t sleep! He is probably re-doing it now!

Did you use heat when wrapping the mirror covers or coldstretch them?

Heat gun came in very useful although it was still far from easy. To be fair, it’s the first time I have ever done wrapping.

Some ppl will be negative but don’t forget that you learn by your mistakes and we all start somewhere.

Nah screw that, it’s certainly better than it was when I started.
I did look at those then watched a chap on YouTube make it look easy so I thought why not give it a go. It cost me all of £6 and two hours of my time.
