where did you get the power for the spotlights ??Thought I'd finished with the interior panels until I tried to get the roof strips in with the std clips(doh).
Looks like the front panel will have to wait till new clips arrive.
I'm happy I went with the white roof to match the cab though.......would have been to dark otherwise......imo.

I ran it off the original power to the courtesy lights. Was a bit of a pain running the cable through the rubber grommet from van to tailgate but doable.where did you get the power for the spotlights ??
Thanks mate for answer , great job by the way I am going to put new roof lining this week so while panel will be off i will run extra cable for tailgate ligts at the same timeI ran it off the original power to the courtesy lights. Was a bit of a pain running the cable through the rubber grommet from van to tailgate but

@Jonah1972. I've never looked into it closely but I've always thought that there was some cutting and welding involved in that job. I'm now thinking that it's a relatively easy DIY job, even for an idiot like me. A couple of question if I may:
Any pictures of the original before the mod and with cover off please? I ask as I wanted to check that we had the same OEM kit.
How much room do you need to fit it? I see you have loads with the single seat but I've got a double so its a bit cramped and having to take the seat out to do it adds a bit to the potential complexity and size of the job.
Nice seats by the way. Cheers.
My swivel is from VW - don't know who makes it. Most seat swivels act in the same way so I wouldn't be to worried about compatibility. The only plane it moves the handbrake is in the vertical (horizontal and lateral position not affected). As I only have single seats upfront I don't know how this interacts with a double swivel but I can't see a reason why it would interfere......@Jonah1972 I've just looked at the Combe Valley Campers website and see that they specifically mention compatibility with the Rusty Lee single swivel. I'm guessing that means that the thing won't be any good for my Kiravans double!
PS. Posted the above and then saw your reply. Thanks.
I like the carpet on the panels only.Carpeting and insulating, once the pop top is installed I’ll be carpeting all the metal work. Also vinyl going down soon and additional windows.
