What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Nice. Is that an illuminated switch at the top?
Thank you, yes. Put it that side so it’s behind the wardrobe so it won’t get knocked when driving. I have a mercury tilt switch somewhere so will fit that aswell sometime so even if you leave the switch on they’ll turn off when you drop the lid. You can then isolate them if you leave it open in the daytime.

Worked out how to route the tambour track so setting up my weekend continuation of project custom interior

Hi Pembo, if you can, try and set up a stop either side of the workpiece to prevent the cutter climbing accross. Not always possible. Definitely worth a try. If you are anywhere near Colchester I could probably lend you a second guide fence. Sorry I am a plumb, just saw you are in Birmingham.

A couple of weeks ago, fitted the soft close kit to the side door. Many thanks to @Pauly for the supply and support.

And if anyone's wondering whether this install is at all useful, here's a little video (my van is on my drive which slopes slightly towards the garage)

Looks just what i need, sick of having to slam the side door!Where did you get it and is it easy to fit?

Installed 2nd leisure battery to allow more flexibility. Hooked it up to the spare power supply to a 24 slot fuse board (12 slots per side). Heated seats and back of front seat sockets fed from one side and my head unit and rear sockets fed from the other side.
Plenty of room for expansion, should I decide I need it.
Also got front fog lights tinted with yellow PFP.

@Pauly is the man for this. I can't speak for his availability at this time but if you pm him, and if he's able, he'll chat with you about your requirements
Riiiiight! I’ve now found the threads and the back history.

Bloody hell, my list of mods is getting longer daily.

But this is so cool.
