What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I love the hinge. Was it hard to do?
Easier than I though it would be. Used a dremel to remove the lugs and excess plastic on the panel, added 2 cabinet hinges and bolted 5mm white acrylic sheet to them, then used sikaflex to bond to the panel. Just need to mount the magnet catch properly (currently used a piece of ply!). Seems to work well and cannot open when the tailgate is closed. Well pleased

Some overpriced gear surround bling and a VW bin for the back of the seat for sweet wrappers and parking tickets etc. both from vanstyle.

Fitted my tow bar (Brinks removable) with PF Jones 13 pin electrics.
So then some VCDS coding.
The tow bar, was a bit of a pain but got there, H7 dips to stay on on main beam and the kph to mph on the MDF. The last 2 were easier all thanks to info on the forum and a bit of you tube.
Glass of beer called for now.

Hi Pembo, if you can, try and set up a stop either side of the workpiece to prevent the cutter climbing accross. Not always possible. Definitely worth a try. If you are anywhere near Colchester I could probably lend you a second guide fence. Sorry I am a plumb, just saw you are in Birmingham.
Cheers mate it was a bit of a test tbh on scrap wood, I've been using f clamps on the good wood and turned out very nice with a bit of t trim on the edge

Looks great, been thinking about fitting them as other half is a little in the short side.
these will come in handy though I am not on the short side (5' 9 1/2") I've OA and have torn the ACL in both knees, one was fixed last year just before the lockdown, no idea when the other one will get done

Took it to have the tailgate window tinting replaced as they left a 2” crease in it last week. Waited 3 hours and just as they were finishing off they ripped the corner off the new tint. had to take it off again. Now I will have to go again next week for another couple of hours ffs.
gutted.
