What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Thats now looking great. I think a big improvement.
Where did you get the VW badges from and what was the quality like?

Thanks
The vw badges were from van style, badge quality good. Take time to clear off all the old glue if you change the rear badge.
The front grill and dog bones were from transporterHQ. Grill quality spot on. The dog bones okay, the near side “bone” has a small gap, only really noticeable if you get right up close. A small paint flow issue on the grill part above the number plate, again only noticed if you are on your hands and knees. The biggest problem though is that my van only has four front parking sensors but the kit has holes for six (the park assistance option) even though the order page stated four. Easily sorted by using two cheap sensors off eBay as blanks.
Bit of a fiddle to swap but simple enough if you follow the transporterHQ how to video.

Delta. Don’t need the bottom bracket part, just the top thru axle bit. it has different screw in end parts depending on thru axle size.View attachment 132265
Or you can go the real cheap way with a block of wood the correct width and a 15mm hole drilled through it!
you can see that said block of wood in photo 1 post #7431.
I used to use that when I had similar set up in our old car

Today the van had its first service - 69 plate with 13k on the clock... a few other Transporters there waiting to be collected also, including a tasty combi! Mines the not so tasty shuttle haha.

I did mine with a Vax carpet cleaner last summer, worked well but mine’s in Simora and seems to mark very easily.
Please post how it goes with removal and re-fitting.
