Good point - it's reached the stage where the kids will break that bloomin' door handle trying to open it!@JOG - might be worth giving Pauly a shout; I am guessing that others must have retrofitted to Cali's - and know the tricks to install more easily?
For part of my install today I used some plastic-coated garden wire and a few bits of electrical tape to pull-through cables under my flooring to the passenger seat... I was in a rush to get to the pub (hence my comment to Pauly about me only counting to 8; I missed a couple of pins when looking at one of the connector blocks). Using garden wire to pull cable was much easier and quicker than actually bothering to take things apart!
Fitted a rear bumper protector.
Which one? I’ve got the VW Carbon one and I don’t think it fitted so well, and now it’s come unstuck at one side.

I jacked up the van using the normal jacking points, as the mounting points for the bars are further back towards the centre. I had no issues fitting them. Tbh you don’t really to Jack the van up as no drilling is required.
OEM VW one. Carbon. Fits perfectly. Looks really good.
These make such a difference to the rear bumper. Thinking of getting the rear spoiler from VWCarbon now.
Are you not worried that @Bigsidavies said his didn’t fit well?

I recall reading a post about the standard of the fibre weave in a VW carbon spoiler, that’s my biggest concern considering f the cost of them.
I already have one fitted, no issues with mine though.
Have you had to adjust the suspension at all?
Direct replacement for my 20s with no adjustments to suspension made. My van came with the VW 30mm lowering springs. Plenty of clearance. More of a lowered swamper look
I bet thats a nightmare to get on, when I fitted heated seat pads in the front seat getting those taught cables on and off was a nightmare! Good work!
FINALLY my 235/55/18 104 Michelin cross climate tyres arrived so they got mated to the Rial X10X Racing Black 18x8.5 (5x120) ET50 65.1 alloys that have been living in the back in their boxes! Finished them off with new centre caps off eBay along with 19mm vw bolt covers (copies off eBay…needed slight modification by scraping ridges off the inside with a sharp 6mm chisel…). I love that the Rials are load rated and a direct fit for the T32- no spigots rings necessary. Ok, 20s and lowering would look good but for the muddy grassy tracks I’m often up this is the best compromise between looks and function. Tyres ride a lot smoother than the previous 215/65/17s that were on the Davenport 17s before so that was a nice surprise! I put on a travelinlite splitter a few weeks ago… not sure about it but didn’t want to go full sportline so I can always unbolt it if I grow tired of it but it’s kinda grown on us…

Booked it in for service. It's not until the 11th of November as I want a courtesy vehicle, plus it gives me time to change the rear brakes before, as they want over £400 to do the job. It's got a service plan, but I'm dreading leaving it with them already.
