What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

It isn’t cheap but it certainly does what it says on the bottle
also good for the tar splatters you get on sills around front wheels TOP STUFF

@huxwar did you use heat to remove the badges?? That’s the only other thing I can think of. I used that stuff and rubbed until it came off no bother

you’re right guys I remember now a light rub over with t cut and all marks gone
I used a heat gun first then some dental floss pulled behind to remove all mine takes most of the glue with it

No, just used tooth floss. Then carefully peeled away most of the remaining glue, tar remover got rid of just about everything else. You have got to be at right angle to see the remaining shadowing. I’ll get some t-cut or some sort of rubbing compound.

Toothpaste? (No, not kidding!)

Too cold for a wash and wax, so I found storage solution for my b pillar table instead!

It's now neatly stowed on the front of the Ovano, behind the seats.
Saves it rattling around or being inconveniently stored under stuff in the Ovano drawer.

Just "Rattle tested" and all good!

Looks a good table. How did you attach to the b pillar please? Did you use a rivnut to bolt it on?

I cannot be trusted to bolt stuff to a new vehicle!
I am confident that this is attached using 4 x M8 bolts into rivnuts. The professionals dealt with the fitment of the table, (Revampavan in Christchurch)

Elegant solution for the table. What size telly have you on that headrest bracket? I’m actually more interest in the bracket and where you sourced it to replace my homemade bodge!!!

That tv is just a cheapish hdmi monitor which is only there because I had been using it as a second screen for my laptop when seeking some peace and quiet from my work desk! I can't recall where the monitor came from but it was blooming marvellous last week when I went up to Scotland and kipped in the van, as I took a fire stick as a bit of an experiment.

The van is equipped with a router with a French SIM (Roams UK Networks) and is connected to our work network via a VPN and so streaming TV worked without a hitch or trouble with data coverage.
(This is totally OTT, for TV, but vehicle serves us for technical callouts where data/network is important.)

I didn't buy the VESA bracket to use with this vehicle, but for use with a LWB vehicle which has been on order since august last year! Just making use of it for now!

The bracket came from Gallant, and it is very good:

Ah, cheers for the link. Just what I needed. You rate it? It’s pricey, but you get what you pay for!

It would definitely look cool rocking up to a customer with your “mobile office” and you connectivity! I’ve used my van as a mobile office - making the customer a cuppa is a great intro! (The beer at end of meeting lands well too!!!)
I might have to add it to my letter to Santa!!!
