What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Maybe. The seals are now royally buggered and I was unimpressed that they were so very unsticky. Maybe I should not worry about them and buy more to fit next year when the sun is out!
Ah, if they’re buggered, start afresh!

Some quick bits before the big stuff starts on Monday.

Also attempted to fit Travelin-Lite Golf Door seals and found to be the least sticky seals adhesive ever!
Despite cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and making sure the doors were perfectly clean, I still ended up throwing the seals in the bin!
Can anyone recommend a decent supplier for Golf door seals that will actually work?
@Samro what rear bumper protector is that you have installed? Do you have a link to where you purchased. Looks good, so do all the mods you have posted

@Samro i fitted these from ebay.............you don't have to slam the drivers door off it's hinges to get it to close with these. Also stuck well although this time of year i would use a heat gun to warm it all.

@Samro. FWIW, I bought my rubber bits some time ago and can't remember exactly what seller but I also got mine off eBay - the door rubber and gap filler came as a package at a very good price and I do remember that the door rubber had genuine 3M VHB tape on it. Like Pewt, I've not had any issues at all with debonding and the doors close easily enough (and with a satisfying clunk).

I had Travelin-lite ones first and the adhesive was poor and also i got fed up with having to slam the drivers door............the one i posted is ever so slightly smaller and works perfect.

Bought mine from Heritage Parts - 3M tape, and still working their taping magic 12mths later

Good progress being made on the DIY electrics install.
Should get solar panel in tomorrow and seat bases finished off so that the converters can crack on with the sound deadening, insulation, carpet lining and fitting of 1+1+1 seats!
Not long now until I can say I am a proper T6 owner!

Most of day seemed to be working out where everything will go!

Straight to it! Get a build thread going, would be great to see the progress as you get the van how you want
