What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Took the Exploria Bed out of the van. Blimey, it's one solid piece of kit. Getting the legs over the wheel arches is quite the effort.

Bought some very clever Bluetooth thermometers for the camper.

Planning to use four:
- fridge
- main living area
- pop top
- van exterior (need to find a good exterior spot)

They have a good range. I can pick them up inside the house. Records temp every ten mins. You can set alerts for the temperature range you want, and see a graph of temperature over time. Free app.

Oria Temp Sensors (£15 for two) from Ali Express or £18 on Amazon.

@damo1023 damn good idea if that works. So that’s behind the seat rather than in front of passengers legs?
Its the wasted space behind the drivers seat when you have a kitchen unit fitted....
Figured it'd be nice to make a unit that you can pull out of the vehicle in 1 bit. A complete seatbase solution with a few Anderson connectors to power the rear of the vehicle.

Good idea. Prevents a diesel heater though?
Only if you go in the conventional spot nothing wrong with an underslung heater though... plenty of places to introduce the heat ducting the inside the van also. Fairly sure vw do a duct through the drivers step but someone better versed in dubs will know better.

Next purchase ironically is a diesel heater .
