What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

This is my next job. They arrived on Friday.
Were they easy to fit and did you use the adhesive of just put them on with double sided tape?

Where is you get yours from, mine are from Van Style.

Let’s see some more pics
No I used primerless sikaflex too
It’s a one take application…easy if you place them right immediately …the tape doesn’t allow adjustment
Rgm automotive

I got mine from Van Style.
Are they the same as the RGM version.

Fit between the door panels and rear wheel arch leaves a big gap which looks white on a white Van.

This was a dry fit. Think I’ll be returning them.

Maybe wheel arch trims and then a vinyl strip rather than the plastic panels would be better?

Or maybe just wheel arch trims?……

do you not need a slight gap to allow door to open etc? otherwise it might catch.

You could always wrap the edges where they meet with black vinyl so it blends in?

Wash … wipe with alcohol … 3m adhesion promotor
Think I will get a small sliver of black tape for that gap …
Got to admit the gap between drivers door and slider beindc was too tight so a sanding Dremel worked well
Don’t forget it’s a one time placement
I used sika 552

OK, sounds like what I am going to do.
My trims have double sided tape but I have removed the tape, scuffed up that back of the trims and will stick using sika.
I presume sika 552 is very grabby, also presume there is some 'time' to slide around into final position?

I've got some matte black vinyl from Amazon. its a perfect color match.
