Absolutely, not worked out a price yet as just playing around with another idea of a thicker board with the template routered out the underside leaving a complete 1 piece floor on the faceand does said company take orders?
Mate you could sell them. Save people tonnes of hassle and timeI have a CNC company
I'd love this in my van but my van just had an entire shift assembly fitted after the two side trims fell apart. (This was under warranty)
Plug and play @Samro - make of that what you will!!!I'd love this in my van but my van just had an entire shift assembly fitted after the two side trims fell apart. (This was under warranty)

I wonder if replacing the knob on a 6.1 is in some way different, as otherwise I can't see why they replaced the entire shift assembly if they could have just given me a new knob. (Que @JOG)
If only I had the old one that they replaced! I don't trust myself! The one change I had to make was the direction of the spline that the gear lever connects to.
Yours will have a spoken with a groove easy to west, I heated mine up and twisted it carefully so that the groove is now face north to south. The the gear lever is a straight fit. The rest is the exact same.
Awesome. One thing I would say is to get that near edge (the gap in front of the plastic and locking mechanism) supported. Pet hate on mine is that I notice mine sink in occasionally - if I put a lot of direct weight on it.New 1 piece packer template before the floor goes in

I'm confused with what was involved with this mod? Did you change the complete lever assembly or just the knob? I figured that the bit you had to rotate was to accommodate the shift lock being 90 degrees different on the golf to the t6? Do you have a thread about this "knob mod"? I'm sure it would be very popular! (Que @JOG....again!)I have an old one now!
