Yea if the paints sound amazing what they can do
That style of curtain is in my camper (converted by Denby) and personal pinion is yeah they are ok. Id prefer blinds but not got the spare cash. The curtains do the job well though, no complaints from meRemoved the stupid a*** rear window unit (original thread asking how to do it)
Turned out to be really simple, worryingly so - not all of the fixing points actually had screws connecting to the brackets behind. I admit that despite Hillside Leisure having a good reputation and being VW approved, I'm more than a little unimpressed.
But the rear view from drivers' seat is massively improved, as is the additional light inside the van. Wish I'd done it sooner.

Who did your conversion mate?
@DanTK Lovely looking conversion! What material is that on the walls? Looks really plush
What about just using an internal thermal stick on blind? Goes on in seconds and keeps the heat either in or out, depending on which way round you fit it.Removed the stupid a*** rear window unit (original thread asking how to do it)

I've specified an Alcantara lining for my conversion and I hope it looks as good as yours. Thanks both. All Seasons did the conversion. Really helpful and communicative throughout and I'm pleased with everything so far, although have yet to use in full on camper mode. The lining is described as "premium velour suede" which apparently is used interchangeably with Alcantara. Whatever you want to call it I suspect it's a synthetic suede look-a-like purely because it's cheaper than the genuine leather suede. Either way, it gives a lovely finish - evidenced by the fact you both noticed it!

Works for us.
They do look goodVW llandudno had a t6.1 sportline in and I have to say it looks really good in the flesh!
Spray WD40 on the metal spring bit that rotates when you close it and then open and close a few times. Mines done it a couple of times. Finally got round to fitting the climair deflectors after then sitting in the garage for a few weeks….so quick and easy and no messing about with clips. Super happy.
Need to try and sort the fuel flap that won’t fully close next!

I note your detailing regime is on par with mine.Yes, remove 5 years of fuel and ad-blu
I used to be so OCD when I had MK1 Golfs and Corrados but I'm not so hot with the van.....Perhaps when I find time to correct the rust spots on the sliding door and then actually dry sand the paint back and polish i might stay on top of things but at the moment its hard to be passionate about detailing....I note your detailing regime is on par with mine.
not a spec of dust or dirt on your van BavI note your detailing regime is on par with mine.
