What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Why wouldn’t the glovebox fit? I was looking for one for mine as I’ve seen others have fitted them no problem.

As @JiMsHaDY69 says above, it is only to fit the comfort dash, but veedub don’t advise this on their listing, just that it adds useful storage to your T6 dash, nothing about it not fitting the standard dash.

I’m guessing this has happened a lot as the reply to my return request was from their customer service manager and we’re currently having a very unproductive conversation where he ignores me pointing the above out whilst he tells me I should have checked the part number first…..

That's exactly what they told me. It's listed as a replacement part, not a retrofit. It's on the customer to check the part number is the same as the part they are replacing. My fault apparently, but the wording of the description is ambiguous to being an upgarde.

Banished the road salt. Was a nice full day outside washing ‘the fleet’, lol - A few hours of Buddhist zen time.

Her Cooper got done first (which was the first time in yonks - it was gopping) - full detail inside and out, tar spots removed, polished, paint waxed, the full monty - even metal polished the exhaust tip, dressed the tyres, hoovered the b’jeesus out of the inside and did the interior glass. I don’t mind doing the Mini, she’s had it for 5 years and only put 20k gentle miles on it. I’ve got half an eye on buying it off her when she gets around to changing it (at the trade price of course ;)). It’s a hoot to drive - peppy little 3 pot (which sounds great) with a manual ‘box. Ideal for those little journeys when you don’t want/need to use the van.

Then did mine - which hasn’t even been driven since I last washed it, but my flesh whistle of a neighbour 2 doors down had a bonfire last weekend, which left the van covered in ash. Bar steward.

Finished off with a couple of little jobs, tyre pressures, oil, coolant and washer fluid checks on both, and now have the van hooked up to the CTEK MXS 5.0 charger, just to recondition and re-juice the main battery.

So nowt major, just a little bit of TLC on both, but I’ve had a cracking day with a bit of much needed ‘me’ time, so thought I’d share. Time for a beer.

Roll on the clock change at the end of March!

Well a quick job done today
With the help for the misses ( little hands )
Replaced all of the bulbs in the front now before you all say should have done LED,well for now it was about getting a better light output and without the full expense of a headlight change fully.
I have read so many posts about faults , heat off the LEDs and them causing issues.
So for now it was a H up grade but woow what a difference. Since I had my van the lights have been shocking.
I have tried to post a few pictures ( I know in the daylight ) but sure you can see already the whiteness instead of yellow.
Never needed to remove any of the bits air fillter or battery area.
Not sure what it was but N/S fog lamp has a small hose and little water pump in front of the holder ? Anyway worked around that … any clues would be welcome ?
Ordered all the bulbs off Amazon so if anybody can’t find a supply let me know will send the link
In total less than £90 well spent

Took the stupid Hella bumper protector off to stop the tailgate rubbing against it and taking the paint off the bottom lip. On the lookout for a nice flat black bumper protecter.
