What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Now you need to get it sprayed to match your engine bay/van colour.

Give Allan @Crafted Automotive a shout, he did mine.

That looks great. Trouble is it was hard enough to justify the plastic that is hardly ever seen let alone getting it beautifully painted. It’ll stay on the back burner for a while! Thanks for the info though.

Fitted a Tow Trust towbar and a newly-painted used rear bumper (thanks @Kev.O ) to sort out the shoddy repair job undertaken by a previous owner after reversing into a bollard. There were loads of clips missing, really poor work, would love to know which garage did it. Anyway, all replaced with new ones now. Off to fetch the trailer!

Lights, rear panels and bumper off...

Towbar fitted... (the sticking plaster sticker is just there until I can get a small dent pulled out, although the kids are begging me to keep it)

Glad the rear bumper came in useful.

Finally got round to fitting the THQ side bars, don’t know if it was just me, but what a pain in the @@@
They weren’t expensive, so maybe the welded bits were slightly at different angles, anyway they are on and coated with a thick coat of Raptor paint.474BA74A-13B0-4FDA-8B53-953CA06E684D.jpeg35FACB8F-968C-479B-AED6-BA3D3BC3FE28.jpeg
Also made a mount/bracket for the fan so we can clamp it in different places in the van or the house

A work of art that not many will see! Presume you pop the bonnet when you're at a show? (would be rude not to ;))
Certainly do mate. Be a shame not to show it off.

Added a knight rider bonnet light - I did one ages ago and it failed in a week so lets see if this one lasts any longer. Still trying to find a feed that activates on unlock and deactivates on lock. Doesnt matter what it does when engine is running - on or off is fine :)

I’m on a role today, just fitted the ovano table, wasn’t too bad a job.
For anyone with a u shaped set up and front swivel seats, it works pretty well, loads of different positions, when the brackets arrive I’ll keep it stored behind drivers seat with the leg, but with the passenger seat fully slide back and nicely reclined, the table still stores neatly away.
Good bit of kit, got a very good THQ eBay deal last month412FE8F7-F581-4810-8706-24BE63A524B7.jpegD135905D-E4A2-40E7-9FFB-232325475F90.jpegD7AAD448-1C6D-456F-9A0A-795476C13ACA.jpeg77A92F20-EF96-49FB-A419-305156C0A81B.jpeg95103268-C586-4689-9BDE-F555E9134E9A.jpeg

On the Ovano website they offer small set of clips that hold the table in place. They are £16 from memory.
They are based around the corner to my office so if they don’t post I maybe able post them on their behalf.

Thanks for the offer, they are the ones I’ve ordered
