Who did you buy your insulation from @jimc91Thanks for the reply, did you also do the area above/ceiling of the scuttle, the bit above the cable in this photo?
I can’t remember where I bought the silent coat, I’ve had some left over from previous sound proofing. I’m also adding some 20mm sound proofing foam from AmazonWho did you buy your insulation from @jimc91
Very exciting stuff. Do you know what brand pop top you are getting fitted?I received some images of the van mid-conversion today. We are really pleased with the two tone paint job and hope to pop down this afternoon to see progress in real life. Interior is going in next week. not long to go now.

It looks like a Hilo/Horizon to me.Very exciting stuff. Do you know what brand pop top you are getting fitted?
Yes, its a Horizon Sport Kit. We were going to go for a cheaper one but having seen this on another van they were converting we decided to splash out.Very exciting stuff. Do you know what brand pop top you are getting fitted?
Yeah, not cheap. I think much of the cost is in the replacement step with the bottom rail built in. The ones for flat sided vans (not curved like a Transporter) are much cheaper.Had to create an account and login for them to pull my pants down! £415!!! Wozers looks good but I’ll make do with £22 one from Amazon hacked to size!
Also bought this bug bite thing earlier hopefully it helps for when I do get bitten!
Nice work. Looking good. Where did you purchased the dash partRetro fitted a factory comfort glove box.
Yes you do have to cut the dash a bit but it can be done.View attachment 210843View attachment 210845
From eBay, the seller had bought it to retro fit to his van but changed his mind when he realised you have to chop the dashNice work. Looking good. Where did you purchased the dash part
It’ll be so quiet you’ll think the engine has stalled.Finished sound proofing the scuttle area, will test tomorrow to see if it makes a difference, pretty straightforward in the end, thanks to @DXX for the pointers on another thread.
Where did you get it done?300 mile round trip to get adaptive cruise control retrofitted.

So, so much nicer on the way home! Not even 1 month without it was too long! No having to constantly adjust/turn off/turn on the std cruise control when coming up to slower traffic on the motorway with no rooms to pull out. Isn't quite as advanced as my previous car but I knew that, it's still a massive improvement.
Looks amazing, you can come fit my kitchenAlso fitted a waterproof switch for the pump. Not a fan of switch panels so it’s hidden in the sink area.
